I just closed my 14th sale in the Seaview Condominium on Lower Queen Anne in Seattle. I’ve had more listings|sales in the building than any other agent in the history of this glorious old building. I think that makes me the Seaview Queen. Or at least one of the biggest fans of this beautiful Art Deco building.
How many construction cranes have you counted in the air in Seattle? I’ve tried to count them as I cruise through town, but I quickly lose track. Here is a great website that lists new construction projects: Seattle In Progress. You can zoom in & out of neighborhoods, and click on a pin for details of a specific project.
I count more than 45 project pins in West Seattle alone! These are commercial projects that have been applied for and/or approved, excluding single family residences and other projects that don’t require Design Review.
I think you’ll want to bookmark this site for future reference.
I am happy to present my first listing of 2016, a super-solid bungalow in the popular Gatewood neighborhood of West Seattle. Built in 1945, it has been well cared for and has a nice level backyard with southern exposure. On a very friendly street, a couple of blocks to restaurants & coffee shops, and just 1 block to the bus line for an easy commute.
I’ll be holding Open Houses this Thursday (11am to 1pm), Saturday (12pm to 2pm) and Sunday (1pm to 4pm). If you’re out & about, please stop by and say hello.

Considering a home improvement project in the coming year? If so, I have free tickets to the first 10 people who email me.

Welcome to my new website! I wanted to create a web presence that reflects the fun I’m having in my real estate career these days. What fun am I having? Aside from the usual listing & selling of homes, as Seattle booms I am getting the chance to serve more and more clients in my own backyard — West Seattle, of course, and beautiful Vashon Island. I’ll be sharing interesting properties I see coming on the market in both saltwater communities, trends in the local economies, and whatever delights me as I go about my business here.
This blog, my Facebook page and Instagram account will all see frequent posts — one of the many benefits of my job being the freedom to update social media on a whim without having to hide it from the boss! I’ll continue to cover Seattle generally, since my clients are spread all over the city, and since what happens in one part of the city tends to ripple out and affect everyone.
Feel free to steer friends, family and colleagues to my website for real estate services, and I will treat them like V.I.P.s. The site will help people keep my contact info handy, and also serve as an educational tool for one of life’s biggest financial transactions. My joy in life is to uncomplicate those transactions for friends and friends-to-be, and to experience secondhand the rush of new possibility that changing places brings.
P.S. How about that headshot! Thanks to Ian of Seattle Headshots, I look at least a decade younger! I love modern photo technology…
A big, big THANK YOU to my clients – past & current – for voting me a 5-Star Real Estate Agent again for the SEVENTH year in a row! I am so fortunate to work with such great people. It is truly a pleasure & an honor. Look for my ad on page 43 of the December Seattle Magazine!
