I work very hard for my clients, and it’s always so gratifying to be acknowledged for work well done. Here’s a new Zillow Review from a recent client:
Dawn, Was the best agent I’ve every worked with. She was both my selling and buying agent. She was professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Her excellent customer service made me feel like I was her only client. You’re in good hands with Dawn as your agent. She goes above and beyond looking out for her clients”. – P. Wells
Thanks for the kind words, Pat! I do endeavor to make each client feel as if they are my one & only. It was such a pleasure to work with you.
I work very hard for my clients, and it’s always so gratifying to be acknowledged for work well done. Here’s a new Zillow Review from a West Seattle seller:
I feel extremely fortunate to have Dawn Nelson as my real estate agent. Months before my home went on the market she advised me of updates to make that would pay off, and made excellent referrals to professionals to get the work done. Then came the staging, my home looked so perfect, I felt like I was living in a furniture showroom. Her photographer took photos that drew in the crowds, the house was priced right and sold in less than a week. Every detail was taken care of all the way to closing.
If you have the chance to have Dawn as your broker you will be nothing but pleased!
Here is a great article from by Rina Camhi, 10MinRealty, via the RISMedia blog. I couldn’t have said it better myself.
Buying and selling a home can be daunting, but you don’t have to go it alone. That’s where a real estate agent earns their weight in gold.
This home, my latest sale of 2016, didn’t quite make it onto the market. My clients opted to sell to relatives of a neighbor before I was able to get it listed. This is Mercer Island, after all; homes seem to sell in a nano-second. The home has classic Mid-Century bones, the kind of home I would relish restoring, if I had the time & energy. In a nutshell, it needs new everything! Making it a prime candidate for a complete tear down & building of a new, big box home. Happily, the buyers own a remodeling company, and they plan to restore it to its original glory before moving in. A happy ending to a once-lovely & much-loved family home!
Here is some good information from my experts at Chicago Title that could be particularly useful to senior citizens & disable persons who could benefit from a break on their property taxes:
If your annual income does not exceed $35,000 and you own and reside in your home, including mobile homes, you may be entitled to a property tax reduction. You must be at least 61 years of age or, if under 61 years, retired because of a disability and unable to work. Property taxes may be deferred under certain conditions. For details, visit the King County Department of Assessment, Taxpayer Assistance – Tax Relief Webpage and go to the Senior Citizens/Disabled Exemption section or call 206-296-3920.
