Hands down, my family’s favorite West Seattle Park is Lincoln Park! Not only is it convenient (a 3-minute drive from our house), it has beautiful sound & mountain views, it has great trails for walking & jogging, and it has a heated saltwater pool in summer. And from our dog Gus’s point of view, it has a pair of regal geese in residence along the water & the upper paths are full of squirrels. The question, “Want to go to the park?” is always met with exuberance! Here is a photo from this morning. I never tire of the view.
Happy New Year! What a banner day for starting the year afresh. One of my 2016 Resolutions, as always, is to get more exercise. And there is no place I like better – to walk, jog or climb steep paths – than Lincoln Park here in beautiful West Seattle. The Olympic Mountains were so beautiful behind the Puget Sound today. Exercisers were out in full force, including this pair of waddling geese.
Do geese make New Year resolutions? One wonders…
My latest listing came on the market on July 29, and within a week we had three well-written offers to review. Each was full price, and two contained escalator clauses of varying amounts. I rolled up my sleeves and got to work comparing and contrasting the various elements of the offers. Because it’s not just about purchase price. A good Realtor will consider financing, lenders, closing dates, down payments & appraisals. At the end of the day, after much negotiating with buyers and their selling agents, my client was thrilled:
Listed for $350,000 and Sold for $405,000
That represents the highest sale price in the building’s history – by 26%. Happy Buyer… Happy Seller.
I am very pleased to present my latest listing on lower Queen Anne, a 669 square foot, one-bedroom condo in the historic Seaview Condominium. The Seaview is one of Seattle’s finest Art Deco buildings and this unit is lovely! Renovated for 21st century living – yet retaining its Art Deco charm – this top floor, SW corner unit boasts panoramic views of the Space Needle, Seattle Skyline, Mt Rainier, Elliott Bay & Olympic Mountains. Truly spectacular water & mountain views from every room, including the bathroom.
This one-of-a-kind home is located in a stellar Uptown location, off the beaten path, yet just a short walk to shops, restaurants & theaters… and just minutes to SLU & downtown Seattle.
